Hard Dollar Has Gone Fishin’

The men of Hard Dollar took some time off leading the world in Project Cost Management, while escaping the heat of the desert to the brisk Canadian air.

As part of the Slick Willie Sales Contest, the top sales angelers along with a group of veteran Hard Dollar employees were invited to enjoy an amazing fishing trip at the Tetu Island lodge .

“It had been a while since I’d been fishing, and to pick it back up this way was first class,” Mitch Elder, Hard Dollar Regional Manager said. “It was an awesome trip, something I will always remember!”

STO: Planning vs. Scheduling

To make a plan is the same as putting together a schedule, right?

Well not exactly according to a recent article from David Berger, P.Eng., contributing editor for Plantservices.com, who explains the significant differences between scheduling and planning within enterprise level STO maintenance projects. Berger suggests that often times these concepts are grouped together, but in reality each of these phrases have different functionalities.
