"I wanted to take a moment and pass along some feedback from the training last week.

We really pressed Skip with some challenging questions about HD, and how we might implement them. He was really straightforward in his answers, and was not shy from giving honest answers about the capability of the software. The open format of the training was great. We started off with a brief overview, but quickly started applying our own business models to the software so that we might start thinking about our own applications. This brought up a ton of questions which Skip did a very good job of fielding.

Over the last year, I have been to several training classes for software. The format is usually the same: open your book, and follow along. You are so busy trying to keep up, that it can be difficult to retain the information. Furthermore, it is difficult to try and think how you might apply this knowledge to your company’s needs. It was refreshing to know that this training was not the same. We had to think dynamically about how we would apply the software. It led to some in depth discussion. We were able to answer most of our questions in class. In other training software environments, those questions usually don’t happen until well after the trainer is gone, and you have little help with your issues.

We look forward to our week on our own, and implementing what we have learned. We are eager to jump in, and it is a comfort to know that the questions that will undoubtedly come up, can be answered next week. You guys really seem to have thought this out, and we certainly appreciate it."
